Yes, it fits over the OEM rears pretty tightly, so you still can pull the pin and it'll function normally, however it's still following OEM design flaw of if the OEM socket breaks. This is why I'm cutting the plastic tip of the OEM so it sits flush, so passengers can't pull the pin.

hah..good idea. i was thinking about removing the OEM pins completely and sticking a cap in the hole.
do you know if they just offer the rear Brabus pins for sale?

I'd prefer no doorpins instead

I was told bt MB Tech door pins are needed to open the car, just incase if you forget your keys inside the car.

yes, they fit over the oem pins so are covers and not replacements. That was brabus's workaround to MB's retarded design. That's why the rears are wider and shorter than the fronts, which are still just screw in.

finally got my car back from the dealership.
Interesting that the service department fixed one of the rear door pins which fell into the door without me asking (no cost), but the other door the pin was still stuck inside the door.
So now I'm on the fence whether to fix the one pin, or go with the covers.
I'll probably put the cover on tomorrow and feel it out -- I could always take them out if I don't like them. Pics coming soon...

ahh i see i emailed them to find out if they will ship a set to toronto...
so the fronts will screw off and on... the rears will have to be cut... and then capped off with the brabus pins... that's not too bad i guess.

yeah and you really don't need to cut the tips of OEM in the rear if you don't want to, but it won't sit flush otherwise. The tip just restricts the pin cap from going further down, so basically I'm figuring just lock the car and whatever sticks out will be where I cut it with some shears.

Ok, the official Brabus pins look like will work for front AND back. Fronts are normal screw on. The rear pins are shorter and wider and fit over the existing rear pin like a cover held by pressure on the plastic. Front sits flush, rear doesn't. You have to cut off the nub tip of the OEM pin to be able to push the rear pin down enough to sit flush.
I'll cut the rears this weekend and take some pics for next week.

I'm not quite sure if the MB Tech who told you this is right. There are a few different ways to open your car door if you lock your keys inside, which is also kind of hard to do since I normally lock my doors with the remote.

Oh, kind of like if I leave my windows down and it rains, my seats might get wet?
As someone else said, lock your car with your keys and you wont have a problem. I can't imagine locking my keys in a car that has a key fob, back in the day when you had to manually lock your doors, yes, but not anymore. at least not for me.

Does anyone have these? Do you know if it's possible to remove the "B" with paint thinner/nail polish remover or is the "B" etched in to the metal? I dont think my interior would like right with the Brabus accent since it's completely stock.

I cut OEMs, first little, than more and more and than whole. I shorten Brabus pin and than made it wider and it still doesn't fit properly.
Front fits perfectly and rear is still a bit to high when is locked. The problem is in the hole where the pin goes, it is to tinny for Brabus pin, I tried everything.

I ended up letting one of my other 204 friends be the guinea pig on this and ordered another set for myself. He cut the rear and it sits flush in the back. As TB5 noted, the pins won't be restocked for another two weeks, so I'm on that wait list as well for another set. Figured two weeks was small price to pay to see that it works before cutting.
ZG ///AMG, what's the part number on your pins? I know that a year ago (and even up to end of 08) the Brabus catalog was screwed up for the 204 door pin part number and they were shipping out 203 pins, NOT the proper 204 pins.

I don't know, try to find the bill and see. I saw it in Brabus catalog and asked local (Zagreb, Croatia, Europe) Brabus dealer and they install them. Even in the catalog looks sticking too much.
