Quote: For a non bixenon headlights, would it be good set up to have the Low Beam and Fog lights replaced by Philips CV and eyelids with polargs intead?

Would the output be any better than stock?

Driving at night using a non bixenon lights is kinda hard to see. I just want a decent upgrade and make my driving experience at night much better.

Any other recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
In my opinion, they would not only be brighter but also looks way better compared to stock. I'm running DV on my low beam though

Can anyone that have these Philips CV bulbs post daytime pictures of the foglight?

I'm curious to see if there's a blue reflection in the foglight housing during the daytime. If so, it makes the car look really really tacky, like a rice rocket civic.

I had these Piaa Platium Mirror bulbs and they were really close to my stock HIDs. Because the bulb is a mirrored color, there's no blue reflection. see pic:

Try doing a search from Vic Viper. He has posted pics of the bulbs. And do you mind posting yours as well? Curious how yours would look like as I just saw these bulbs a few days ago.

Are there any halogen bulbs that match the color of 6000k HIDs?

So nobody has found a decent match for W204's that have 6000k headlamps (DDM slimfit)? Something with that nice whiter light output?

2 pair of CV H7 arrived today with 4 pairs of Polarg M4.

Just finished with the istallation of low beam and fog lights w/ side marker and all i can say is !

This upgrade is 10 times better than stock (non bi-xenon head lights)

No more yellowish head light and fog lights. All front lights are white (no bluish shade at all).

I tried taking pictures but it doesn't do justice and by not seing it with your own naked eyes you will not appreciate the upgrade. you really have to see it in person.

Can you take a daytime picture of the foglights head on plz? I want to see if there's a blueish reflection of the color of the bulb during the daytime.

In the pictures that you took of ur car with the new bulbs on, did you have the pollargs on the eyelids? Cause they look yellowish

On naked eyes you will not see any yellowish shade on the eyelid or the CV. I have a sucky camera.

Glad to hear that you like the output. Im thinking of switching my lows to HIDs and either my DVs or LED DRLs from DCT to the fogs as well.

My CVs in the high-beams(H7) and the CVs in the fogs(H11) DON'T MATCH!!! I don't know how this is possible when they have the same color temperature i.e. 4300K. The high beams are whiter than the fogs!!! AND I SO HATE IT! Just going to wait for a couple of days and see if there's a change, otherwise they're going into the bin!!! Grrrrr

I think probably the bulbs are faulty. I remember a forum member has this problem as well. I've just installed my set of diamond vision into the fogs and there isn't any problem at all. Running diamond visions on my lows as well though. Hope you'll sort out your problems soon.
