C350 made

I heard that some C350s are made in South Africa, is that true? If so, how can you tell?

Check the last 7 digit of your VIN
If your VIN has Rxxxxxx, then it's South Africa build, if it has Fxxxxxx, then it's Germany build
FYI, Mercedes-Benz South Africa plant (East London) which builds the c-class received GOLD PLANT QUALITY AWARD just last month from J.D. Power & Associates
Doesn't matter if your c350 is build in Germany or SA, as long as you receive one that doesn't have any problem, you should just be happy about it..
IMO, you should have asked all these questions about price, build location, etc, etc BEFORE you buy the c350..not after..
Since you already have a loaded c350...just be happy and don't bother yourself over the smallest things..
