Question Rear CF diffusor installation question

I need a little help here guys, I purchased a rear CF diffuser from E-bay its from a seller called 4A motors out of Taiwan. It says that the diffuser fits directly over the existing one, does that sound right? Its big enough to fit quad tips, so if I put it over the existing diffuser I would think that the smaller orifice for the single tip is going to show. There are no mounting brackets on the diffuser itself just some tabs that extend out off of select edges. Anyways hope someone knows what the deal is with this type of diffuser. Thanks for all your help in advance.

You're going to have to take off the original one and replace it with the CF one. The tabs keep the diffuser in place along with some screws.

If you got the one that sticks on the OEM diffuser, then you have to cut a bigger opening on the OEM diffuser to fit the tips.

I guess I did? Should have done a little more research... The company finally e-mailed me and said to use glass glue, whats that? I'll have to look it up possibly some kind of industrial adhesive. Apparently this diffuser fits over the existing diffuser, and I will have to cut out the smaller OEM orifice to put in the quad tips.

oh wow what a messy way to put on a diffuser, you should return it and get the one that bolts on directly.

+1. Should have gotten the bolt on replacement, not the cover.

Angry 4A-motors CF rear diffuser

Do yourselves a favor and never purchase a ****ty diffuser from 4a-motors on e-bay. This piece of crap does not even contour to the rear bumper or OEM diffuser??? They told me it glue's on directly over, what a lie. I laugh at myself for being so stupid some times... anyways hope my mistake is a learning lesson for you all. Any good bolt on CF rear diffusers out there? Has to be a reputable company.

FedEx shipping is about $15.00 you pay for the weight not for the size of the box.

international. Expensive lesson. You might have been better off seeing if there were any C63 buyers who'd be interested in buying it. Can't hurt to ask.

I considered selling it to another person, but I wouldn't want to pass my mistake to some other poor schmuck, also I dont think this fits on any W204's. I'll eat it... hope this is a lesson to everyone. Thats whats great about MBWorld forums we can all take and give a little advice.

Is the quad diffuser the C63 one? If so, I read that you need some c63 brackets from MBZ. Do you know which ones you used, to mount the diffuser to your car?
