Gap on clear bumper lights
Hello guys! Newbie here... I just had the dealer install my clear bumper lights and noticed that one does not have a good contact w/ the bumper, it's the passenger side front bottom part of the lamp. It has a gap of about 5mm. Has anyone had this problem when they installed their clear bumper lights? Thanks!

i had quite a bit of gap on mine at first but after some fiddling with it it now only has a barely noticeable gap of maybe 1-2 mm.
5mm sounds like a huge gap tho. where did u get ur markers from? i suggest maybe reinstalling it.

I'm just worried that the lens might moist... mine has a big gap that u notice it right away. i actually tried heating the lens and the grey plastic and tried bending it, but it didnt work. btw, i got the markers from ebay.

dont worry about moisting as the lens is watertight itself so if water/air leaks in its just gonna go into the engine bay.
i imagine heating it is not a great idea though as the piece is hollow and is quite thick so its really hard to get an even heating and a good bend. it might also damage the seal between the clear and gray part. plus even if you succeed in bending the clear part might turn white.

I have a couple of mm gap all around and the lens never actually touches the paintwork anywhere. I do get moisture behind the lip but it easlily drys/vents out. It is only noticealbe when washing and I get soap bubble behind it. It sounds like your light may not be inserted properly or possible you simple got one that came out of the mold misshappen. I would pull it out and compare to the OEM and try to reinsert.
