New C350 Owner
Hello Everyone !
Just wanted to introduce myself. I traded in my 1999 Porsche Boxster and my 1998 MB C280 on CPO 2008 MB C350 with 9k miles.
With the addition of a baby girl to the family in February, the upcoming work needed that was uncovered on the Boxster when the 60k miles service was done, and the C280 hitting 150k miles it was time.
My only regret is not getting the Multimedia Package, but the car was priced right and they offered such a great trade in on my other two vehicles that I could not pass it up.
Regards,
Nick

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone ! Here's some of the things I've learned on the forum so far...
1. You can buy an adaptor from Scosche so that your Iphone will charge when hooked up in the glove box :
http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS...mco=NDc2MjUxNw
2. You can add the Universal Media Interface if you did not add the multimedia package when you bought the car :
http://www.autospectator.com/cars/me...cessories-gmbh
( I am seriously considering this ! )
3. As much as I regret not getting the Harman Kardon sound system, since I listen to Sirius 90% of the time the benefits of the upgraded sound system would probably be minimal.
Great forum here, folks ! Hopefully I can contribute as I learn more about this great car.

If you really regret not getting the MM package you can also look at retro fitting the screen and head unit. You lose the HK speakers but it is still much better than the UMI setup IMO. The cost is about the same (maybe cheaper) and requires a little bit of work.
