What To Do...

So I bought a lux grille off of eBay, it was well packed but it looks like the mailman treated it like Jim Carrey did at the beginning of Ace Ventura. Upon opening the package and removing the bubble wrap, I noticed a crack where the clips are along the bottom. No big deal, the plastic is pretty stiff and a bit of crazy glue would hold it together if I was really concerned about it, but I'm sure it would hold the grille without any problems and you can't see it when installed. My biggest gripe is that the chrome near the tri-star emblem has a hairline crack up to the top. This of course is noticeable and bugs the hell out of me. So, I'm probably going to claim my shipping insurance on this (BTW, anyone know how to do this?) unless they are going to take the item back; I got it off of eBay for $80 shipped so I'm not that upset, I'd rather keep it and mod it than get $80 back sans a grille.

On that note, what do you guys think I should do with it? Any idea is a good idea so don't be afraid to post!

Right now, I'm considering either getting the chrome re-done on it, but that could be expensive and I mind as well just buy new lux grille. On the other hand, I am considering painting over the chrome to match the body colour and paint the fins behind it gloss black like the C63 grille. What do you guys think?

IMO, just black out the entire grill and then paint over the rest of the chrome trim. Just my 2 cents.
