Send the seller a message requesting that he remove your photo . . If he doesn't you can contact eBay and they'll be quick to remove his listing.

 

I agree. You should do this.

 

....or tell them to send you a $100 for use of these picture or you'll report them to ebay for copyright violation.

 

Message already sent to the seller. I did send some pics (don't remember if this is one of them) to the seller 5th-gear who sold me the SL grill but not to this guy.

 

Someone did the same thing with me using my picture for the front lip. I shot a message to the seller and to Ebay claiming fraud as mine was a Euroteck and his was a knock off. Less than a day later, the listing got removed.

this happens all time, look at this jackass using a pic i once posted of our lip on the forums and he is trying to sell a carlsson replica part!!!!!!! I find it amazing ANYONE would buy something off ebay these days from overseas...

Not just ebay, but pretty much any auction site. I found a high end pre/pro for my home theater that sells used for around $5,500 for $500 out of China.

 

That is very true actually. It is not just ebay..... I found tons of my stolen pic and friends stolen pics of many other auction sites I never even heard of, but often pop up on a google search. Yahoo auctions is another bad one where it happens...

didnt mean to come off as a dick...it was just a "thinking out loud" moment.

 

I'm upset because you know that the car is mine being a forum regular, you buy this grill from this E-bay seller. When it comes in it looks like *** on your car, scratched, chiped, broken whatever so you contact me thinking I am either the seller or a friend of th seller to make it right. Don't need the hassle.
Something similar already happened to me once before. I collect watches as some here know. One piece I have is very rare just 200 ever made all numbered. I get an E-mail from one of my watch collcting friends and he is a bit mad at me for not giving him a chance to buy my watch before posting it on E-bay. The problem my watch isn't for sale but the one pictured in the auction is mine, all of the pics were pulled from my photobucket account and used by this thief. The person who won it never received it (oviously I am wearing it right now) and being part of the small circle of collectors he contacted me about it. I had a hard time convincing him I was not the seller.
