Best looking/ Highest performance/torque W204 Contest
I want to propose a contest to find the best looking/ highest performance/torque W204.
I think we should be able to do this with the forum poll function. We can start a thread for nominations in each category with a deadline. After the deadline ends for nominations, we can start a poll thread for each category for voting. We can even offer a prize! Moderators/Members, what do you think?

Yooker,
I love the way the matte finish paint, and the brabus kit looks on your car. If you have dyno results, could you post them? Also, Could you post side, rear, and interior shots?

Soldier2304 and Yooker have done an excellent job with their cars. They going to be hard to beat. Does anybody think they have better cars than Soldier2304 and Yooker? What do you all think about a $10 entry fee to generate prize money? I think front, side rear, and interior photos need to be required for best looking, and we can go off of dyno results for highest HP, and torque.

I understand that you may think the contest idea is lame. I am really curious to see what C class owner have done to make their cars faster, and better looking. Do you know of any Mercedes C-class meets/car clubs in the Northern VA area?

Lol my car is no competition to other W204 AMG owners like "Dads C63" "taylorcoleman" "Hhughes" or Evosport's C63 which puts down 470 WRHP.

Do you think people will have a problem have a problem paying a $10 entry fee? Do you have an issue with the idea of a contest in the MBworld forum? I thought it would be interesting. Two people have already posted their cars. I'm assuming they are interested. I just want to understand why you think I'm living in a dream world. What permission were you talking about? I just bought my C350, and I am new MBworld, so I'm just kinda excited about seeing what I can do to make my car better, and I thought a contest would be the best way to see this. I'm confused about why you are discouraging this idea. I would expect the opposite from a moderator.

well, not to be mean, but if you can't even recognize the pic yooker posted as a stock publicity photo released by brabus and not his actual car, then judging competancy gets called into question. secondly, although put forth with good intentions, this would probably be more devisive than unifying. and dads or the evosport 63 probably wins the performance category anyways of whoever's on this forum.

He never said we have to post a car we own. Also technically the Brabus Bullit is still a W204 since it uses the same bodyshell and chassis. Since it's a W204 and he never said anything about the entry being limited to Non-AMG cars, the Brabus Bullit wins.

I thought it would be pretty easy to use paypal for the money collection, and let the users of the forum vote poll function of the forum.
Since I don't have support from senior members of the site, I'm not really feeling the idea any more.

We would obviously have to have three separate stock categories to make it fair:
C300, C350, C63
We can make this really informal. We don't really need a bunch of crazy rules, and ridiculousness. The intent is find the coolest cars on the forum.
To be honest we don't really even need to have a contest at all. We can just start a poll. So here goes. Post "Your" car with front, side and rear pics, or dynos if you want to compete for performance, and I'll consolidate all the entries, and start the poll. Post your car by 1/11/09.
