Help! How to mount stickers to front lip TEMPORARILY?
Because of my job, I need to mount two stickers to the front of my car whenever I want to gain access with my car to certain company locations. But this only comes up maybe 3-4x/year. And I don't want to tarnish the clean look of my car by permanently mounting stickers to the front lip.
So my initial thought was to mount the stickers to a magnet and then apply the magnet to the front lip. But it wouldn't stick to any of the "authorized" parts of the car that need to show the decal -- I guess because the body at those locations aren't made of steel.
Does anyone have a suggestion therefore on how I can easily apply and remove these stickers every now and then?
Thanks guys.
P.S. While my car is a C63, I thought more people might chime in on this section of the forum. And I think the C63 and the C-Class are both made up of the same body structure.

simple. 3M blue tape the part that will have the sticker mounted, then mount the sticker on the blue tape. Or just put the blue tape on the sticker first and cut around it so the blue doesn't show, then mount the unit on the car. Either way, blue tape comes off clean and won't damage anything.

Depending on how long the stickers have got to be there...
...you can do it the easy way if you don't need to drive a lot with them on.
Cut a piece of clear saran wrap about an inch larger than the sticker. Place the sticker on the car (without removing the sticky back) and cover the sticker (and about a half inch on all sides) with the saran wrap. The cling wrap will stick to the (clean and unwaxed part of the) bumper and keep the sticker in place. It peels off easily...

Thanks for all of the creative feedback guys. Please keep the ideas coming!
My problem with the painter's tape is that the "loud" blue color of the tape might not pass muster with security.
The saran wrap idea looks interesting though. I'm going to try that out this weekend...

Painter's tape is NOT double sided....
While that would work, it really isn't reusable, while you can always cut a new piece of saran wrap.
If you do use saran wrap, buy the clingiest kind that you can find.
Ca the sticker be mounted on the windshield? If so, put the sticker in the windshield and keep it in place with that saran wrap - that's what I do with my parking sticker - that way I can move it from car to car...
