Hey all,

as I just got my car, I been trying to figure out how to setup Global unlocking/locking.

I read the manual and followed its direction by holding the Lock and unlock botton for 6 second and hear the beep sound. but global locking still not work.

my car is C300 4matic with P2 package. any idea if my car comes with this feature as well as the side mirror folding?

where are you located. If you are in the US and you have a 2009-2010 model, you do not have power folding mirrors

what about global locking and unlocking by just touching the door handle?

 

Do you have Keyless GO? If you don't have that, you don't have that feature.

 

Your salesman should be able to answer all these questions regarding your car and Im pretty sure he will be happy to do so since you'll receive a survey in the mail to rate the kind of service your dealer giave you

 

global unlocking is pushing the key unlock once and it will unlock all doors/ or pushing it once unlocks driver's door and fuel filler flap, pushing it again unlocks the other 3 doors.

keylessgo is for touching the door handle and was not an option on 2008-2009 models. This is a $1200 option on the 2010

 

I hope your salesman didnt tell you that you DID have these features when you really dont! I would go punch him in the face!

 

Works on my '08. You realize that after setup, one push on the unlock button unlocks the driver's door and two pushes unlocks all.

 

no the salesman didnt tell me i have it. lol I was reading the manual i tho i have it but couldnt get it working....

you guys are all smoking crack - of course our cars are equipped with this feature.

just push and hold the lock and unlock button at the same time while pointed at the i/r receiver on the driver door below (or above) the drum-lock cylinder..

when the red light blinks on the key fob, you have switched the mode...

repeating the process will switch between everything unlocking with 1 press of the unlock button, and everything unlocking on the 2nd press of the button, with the first one only unlocking drivers door and fuel cap...

The OP was getting keyless go and global unlocking confused.

MB USA took out the folding mirrors to stop the whiners on the vibrating noise issue.

Canadians are more civil and don't whine as much so we still get this feature.
