Recession and MBUSA
Given the current economy, wonder why doesn't MBUSA introduce the C250 (previously C230) to USA? A mid-high 20's base price would be very attractive.

'14 GLK250 Diesel
Well, for me, a better question is "where is the 4 cyl turbodiesel in the C and GLK"? That drivetrain would perform on a par with the smaller gasoline 6, and get 35 US mpg in the process.
But forget about any US stickers in the $20s - will never happen again, unless they finally get religion and bring in the B-Class (which you Canadians can buy today....US customers are considered too dumb to understand the value of this car, apparently).

Understand Canada will get the 250 in 2010. Benz baby V6 engines are great & so smooth.

Great acceleration, seems faster than my C, decent ride, interior looks and feels very cheap especially the orange computer display, shifter / console, standard guages.
A decent vehicle if in the market for high spec CRV, RAV 4 etc.

@Glyn -- we've been getting the W204 with small V6 since 2008... as the C230. They are just re-badging it as the C250 starting in 2010. I see lots of them on the streets here -- differentiated by their multispoke wheels. I'd say that I see more C230's than C300's. Rarely would I see another C350.
The Americans are already getting their C300 for so cheap. I don't think that needs to lower their entry prices by bringing in the C250, let alone the B200. Besides, they want their torque and HP. They'd be overlooking those small engines anyway.
The diesel would be great tho.

not trying to sound arrogant... recession and mbusa doesn't quite fit in the same sentence. (fingers crossed) if i ever have to worry about how hard i'm getting hit by the recession, i will definitely let my benz go...
