2004 C230 Kompressor Sport
Is there 'Sport' / 'Comfort' indicator light next to the switch?
Just bought a used 2004 C230 Kompressor Sport with an automatic transmission. On the shifter, next to the 'Sport'/'Comfort' switch, there is a small roundish plastic nub. I curious about what it could be, since it looks like it serves some kind of function.
My first thought was that is could be an indicator light for either the 'Sport' or 'Comfort' shift program. But when I toggle the switch I see no effect, so if it is a light, then its burned out.
The PDF owners manual I downloaded from MBZ does not have any reference to it, which may mean that it serves no functional purpose.
Does anyone know what that thing is, if anything?
Thanks, in advance.
