All in Dutch (no problem for me ), but from the pictures you can see the headlight units are standard black and it looks like they come with some kind of different color for the alu interior.

This special edition is available in Canada as a C300 4Matic. White, Black or the special color here. Black headlights units. Of course here in Canada it is MB Tex not cloth, with leather as option.

The entire lineup of MB's has started changing over to the daytime running light feature. Those cars without Xenon headlights get two lights at the bottom of the bumper (basically looks like two fogs till you get up close). Those cars with Xenon lights get the l.e.d. strip and the fogs are then relocated to the head lamp cluster. After looking at the new E and refreshed GL with this set up I like both versions, the l.e.d. strip looks great lit up, while the dual fog look, looks quite good unlit lol. I'm sure this feature will get rolled into future updates.

Really, if that's it, then I finally understand why some have DRL Strips and other have two fogs....good to know haha

I think it's

Because they mention the code 236 (DRL) and P35(light package)

do you have an update Vic?

That's odd, I thought there was only one type of alu trim for the W204, and it's the real stuff. At least I have it on my Avantgarde, and it's 100% real alu - proven by the fact that I've already dented the strip on the driver door panel in several places when removing my seatbelt .

I don't really like quad fogs either, but the LEDS do nothing for me. You're entitled to your opinion. Those hokey hockey sticks will be a thing of the past in no time. And, that new C bumper looks like an integration of the lux and sport. I am not into it at all.

I am pretty sure that the facelift will look nothing like that, its just some fanboy PS art.

Looks like a product update, but not a facelift.

Actually looks better than I first imagined, wonder how they look on the sport?
A bit strange though, if you look at the pics above there is still a round recess in the bumper below the foglight?

Very nice pick up. Thats some poor designing on the behalf of Benz. Lets hope this car was caught in between change overs, as it still has the old wheel design thats changed for 2010, at least in the U.S. anyways. These do appear to be Euro spec cars though.

That's true, but may be they dont want to re-design the front bumper (costs) for the little upgrade/option.

And you have also seen it in EPC, they dont put it in EPC if it will not come... think the EU 2010 models will come with these led's as an option or with a package.

probably a fake picture or something mercedes edited. From the previous pic posted of the new face lift, the new picture now shows the headlight with a bit of a twist.

hmm. How does the Intelligent light system work then with the new setup? the idea is that the a single fog light turns on depending on right or left move/indicator.

cant imagine this would work with led or have the brightness.

Quite a nice gimmick.

Yeah I like them too but dont want to change the bumber for them. Carlsson has aftermarket LEDs for the W204. The placement of the LED doesnt look to difficult but some cutting is required. But what does look difficult is the wiring, they are putting the car on a hoist to access the car from below which seems a step above my head

Here is the link:

I ordered some led strip and will be experimenting with that and see how that looks, if it looks like crap i will remove them.

Any suggestions on how to wire them? I read a lot about error messages thron on the computer, what causes these error messages?

Have you seen them on the new E Class? They are...BRIGHT! They are the DRL's for the E Class and you can see it from a mile away in the afternoon.

I have! :-) the certainly can be seen from far away.

what i mean was, if you opt for an intelligent light system, do you get fog lights or leds at the bottom? I think "being seen" (Led daytime) is slightly different from illuminating the road (cornering fog lights)..

oddly enough saw a porsche in my rear mirror with LEDS. immediately thought it was audi. just goes to show how associated they;ve become with Audis. Though this me drawing a huge generalisation from my own empirical observations..but hey...

p.s. what does 'DSL' mean? I'm sure it's obvious...
