lamin-x for windshield
just browsing the internet and found out that lamin-x offers windshield protection made by lexan.

I wouldn't recommend it.
It will affect the clarity of the windshield and affect how the wipers glide over them. As with any clear bra material, it will look like crap for the first week or two until the haze disappears and you don't want to be driving when that happens.
