I'm a fan of the middle tips. The top ones aren't bad but a little too...angular maybe.

Top, then middle, not the third. Two questions, though....

Have you checked the specs to know if this will fit with the C63 diffuser?
Is this a simple cut and weld to install the new tips?

Seems almost too easy and well priced!

Each of the C63 tips are 4-13/16”, and each of the C300 sport tips are 4-3/4”. The second link says the Outlet Width(Total)is 7.42''.

So im gessing it will fit with the c63 diffusor. Also it will be a cut n weld to install the new tips...

the second link is the winner. i hope you go ahead and use these for the quad exhaust mod with the diffuser. I am not a fan of the quad mod that most of the people on the forum are doing with welding a second tip to the current exhaust pipe. from underneath the car, it looks ghetto. keep us posted!

It will fit, but it will be about 2" narrower than the stock/AMG tips. You'd have a 1" gap on either side of the tips which would look kinda awkward IMO.

The second one will fit your car much better, but your muffler guy has to customize them to fit your OEM mufflers, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Wouldn't it actually be a 1" wider gap? The MB tips likely already allow for some design-appropriate gap to the C63 diffuser. On my C300 the existing gap to the stock diffuser is already 1" outboard and .75" inboard, for example.

Whatever the existing gap is, you'd need to add 1". The total width would be about 9.5" for dual tips with a small gap between them. The ones in the link are just under 7.5", so yeah, it would be 1" wider gap on either side like you said. Typo, my bad.

No problem...just confirming...because realizing that makes me pass on this option. A total gap of about one inch is OK, but adding one more inch would be as you said...not very attractive. I still wish we had some action from the guys at Royal who did the great black powdercoat parts for tanktube67.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I didn't read through all of the posts, but here's my take.

I am developing an axle-back bolt-on system for the W204. I have been working on it for a year since my bad experience withn exhaust manufacturer. I have found that the top tips will not fit in the standard C300/350 diffuser. They will probably touch it because each side is about 6.5" wide. Also the inlet is 2.25" in diameter and will require a reducer. They are nice though. They will be way too small for the C63 diffuser. The second set is not staggered and will not follow the lines of the diffuser. The third is an aftermarket company that deals with BMWs.

I have found the perfect tips for a quad design using the 300/350 diffuser, but they look smallish compared to the C63 quad diff and tips. They are stainless and as good as the OE tips, if not better. They are not 304 or chrmed, just polished. In a year, they are the only tips I was able to find. I'll start a thread when it all starts coming together.
