C63 Quad Exhaust
Would it be easier if you can just buy the C63 Quad OE mufflers from the dealer and install it to either the C300/C350 than do modified the existing single muffler to make it to a Quad?
I'm not sure how much it will cost, im sure it will be expensive or would it even fit?

exhaust blues............
Hello Fellas, I own a C350 (09) and understand about what goes on in yer heads, I had a chance to talk to some mechanics today at the dealership and they have done several mods to existing 350's w the '63 exhaust.
Basically they said that they recommend using the pipes and mufflers after the center muffler of the 350. this will give you a little more noise and better flow but will not make the car drone.
If you use the stock '63 assembly again the noise level will be increased much more, though it might sound nice in the beginning, for everyday driving it will be annoying.
I am considering using the '63 assembly after the 350 center muffler, they quoted me approx $3,000 for all the hardware including the amg quad tips installed in house. I bought a '63 diffuser already.
Unfortunately I have to go this way because installing another system will void my warranty![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
The file I uploaded is for a C63, again unfortunately, you have to get rid of the center muffler even if you pay for it.
I haven't done mine yet but maybe in two weeks I'll get around to it.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
You will need the section with #240 and # 200 for the 350 conversion, they will make a cut behind the #240 section, I saw Vader's conversion and that was clean as well. This is just going a different route.

warranty
Hello, no your warranty won't be voided if you just install the tips, as per my dealer, if I had installed a cat back exhaust then it will invalidate my warranty, each dealer is different, I suggest you check yours first, happy driving.........

By law (in US), they'd have to prove that your mod caused the issue and as cat back systems are purely sound aesthetic, good luck to them proving that caused the failure.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
My dealership's warranty advisor told me that as long as the exhaust system does not impact the emissions control system or throw a CEL, it will not void the warranty. A resonator back system will have no effect on the emissions control system.
