Tinted Headlights and Tails

Hey Guys

I was pulling up to the gym the other day.. when I saw a c class in tenorite grey with tinted headlights and tails.

I think the look is extremely hot! Anyone know if people use plain old tint or if they were a special type of headlight??

I want to do that to my GLK.

Lamin-x doesn't offer the pre-cut films for the GLK yet. You would have to buy bulk pieces and cut them yourself. I wouldn't recommend it if you have not done it before. I just installed the pre-cut headlights and taillights on my 08 C and it was a fun filled 2 hours. I have used the films before and the end results are great but it will drive you insane trying to get all of the bubbles out. Most custom body shops will paint the lenses but I personally don't like the way they look. Besides, thats semi-permanent. Give lamin-x some time and they will offer the kit for your vehicle.

what does the layover do to the actual lights? i really like the way the c lights look at night, i imagine this will just make them dull/toned down...

I just applied the gun smoke film. I think its too dark. I had used the tint film in the past and I like the color better. It also did not effect the lighting as much.
Any tint you apply will reduce brightness by some degree.

No removal required. I installed all within 2 hours (that included the mirror turn signals which I had to custom cut).

I got it a long time ago (when they first came out). Sorry, I don't recall the seller. I believe they were in Canada.

was it at meadowvale town center??
might a been moi...
i was chilling round that gym few days ago... i remember seeing a grey glk... and contemplating whether i should have gotten that instead of the C.

either way if it was me... the headlights/ taillights are lamin-x yup...

fronts are the lightest colour "Tint"... and the back was "Gun Smoke"

feel like i should let you know tho that the licensed installer did mess up my first set... i had to remove them... and ill be puttin on another set soon... hopefully the installer learned from his mistakes.

if you are keeping the car or don't mind permanently tinting the lights then... i suggest you paint em...
