Urgent help
i brought my c350 to R&H mercedes (owings mill, MD)
for the first year service A check up
where is not the dealer i bought my c350 from
after "completed" the service
we realized wrong thing one by one
they changed my oil into quarker state, not mobile 1
which should be the standard for mb according to mbusa's head office representitive
then we had the head office talked to the dealer, then they changed back to us
now, we just found that they changed our spare tire into a used cheap old version
anyone has the w204 c-class should know that the spare tire is a self-inflat matching size tire
now after the service, the tire is a smaller, inflated, show wear of used
i'm suspecting some more extended exchanges they did on my car
brothers, what can i do now??
will i get complete compensation from this freaking situation??

they claim they have "security camera"
bull ****...anybody have a brain knows can be drove out of the range to do so
man, anyone can do me a favor, spare tire just not anything usual people pay much attention on...i did took pictures of my car others parts...i didnt took picture of my spare tire
if anyone has the full size inflatable spare tire with the pump
please...take a picture of them, so i can refer it to the higher headquarter management
its just closer...
i took my first 3000 check-up to bethesda, there was no problem at all
i'm pissed
their supervisor deny...just like no criminal would admit
its my first time to buy mercedes, i was just so excited
i know what exactly i have...i just havent take a picture of the so seldom use compartment
i clearly remember that i had a silver, deflated spare tire that is full-size, and with a pump
now...it is a cheap smaller black iron donut
there is no way ...its too big different...they think we are fool
but the sale offered us a lot of upgrades
one of is was amg wheel upgrades included the spare tire

its too late...the "R&H" is the closest to me...
and i have to work all of their business day...except saturday morning,
this is why i just picked the closest...i should not
i'm regret now...
what can i do to fight it back??
As for the spare tire, are you sure? I'd check your paper work. The AMG upgrade is pretty much standard equipment, the luxury version I'd consider is an option. The package only includes the wheels on the four corners of the car, not the spare. You wouldn't be able to fit a full sized spare in there without impeding on the trunk floor.

but still...nobody would expect mb doing something like this
thats why i buy mb
i clearly remember it was a un-inflated tire full-size all the way up to the rack barrel
now...my spare rack barrel has like 3-4" height left
the dealer gave us the upgrades as the close out deal...we get this at the season's ending

As for the wheel, it still wouldn't fit, the width of the rim would exceed the height of the spare tire area and intrude on the trunk space. Did you check it before taking delivery to confirm? If not, could have been some other dealer BS to get rid of a car off the lot.

for the spare tire...i found a picture on google
this is what looked alike on mine...as i said, we were impressive...we looked into it, i remember it very much...but didnt take a picture...sigh

you can see this is a inflated...as you may see the darker intentation on the tire...ya, that was the width pre-inflation...about 3" i think
and the tire go all the way up to the top of the rack...this just looked exactly what we had
and yes, it is amg option, but my dealer opted to us
1. Call your salesperson and have them try to resolve the situation.
If they gave you a full-size spare, the other dealership isn't going to argue with them as to if you did or did-not have one. Even if they flatly refuse to replace it, your salesperson will probably find it in their inventory to comp you another one.

Sucks man, I agree with Peabody, best to talk to your sales guy and get a copy of the bill of sale that includes the spare wheel upgrade in writing. Then I'd bring that to the dealer that performed the A service on your vehicle and confront the service department. If they blow you off, ask to speak to the manager. If that doesn't pan out, talk to the financial officer and then finally the owner. If that still gets you nowhere, call MBUSA and scan your documents as well as some photos and send them in. The last thing MBUSA or MB for that matter is bad PR.
Reminds me of a guy who had a Toyota Tundra and was sure that they were stealing his change and other paraphenalia (sp?). He installed a small camera on the passenger door and took it in for his next service. Caught them red handed snooping around stealing his change and watching pr0n on the diagnostic laptop. Just something to keep in mind in situations like this...it can happen ANYWHERE!!!
