Another windshield

I know this has been covered before but I haven't even owned this car for a year yet and I am replacing another cracked windshield. Seems wierd to me

The worst part is that my arguement about how we should trade the C350 in on a C63 didn't work because my wife is clever enough to know that it's the same windshield.

Yeah, I tried that. Like I said, one sharp cookie that one.
It is wierd though, she said what ever hit the windshield seemed to be really small because it hardly made any noise at all and then it just started to crack.

My advise.. just go out and buy a C63 while you are at "work". She will be pissed off for a day or so then get over it.

Yeah, there is that whole 25k difference in price thing though. That might take more then a day or so for her to get over.

Reminds me of a funny story (read, long) My buddy had this really nice 69 El Camino that he bought that was real clean but had a tired Chevy 350 with a ton of miles in it. One day he noticed a pretty good oil leak on his nice clean painted garage floor and his wife said "you have to take care of that".
So, we took it up to my brother in-laws house to "fix the oil leak". We had it up there for a few weeks and in that time, we dropped in a built crate motor with an Edelbrock intake and heads, dual quads, custom long tube headers and complete exhaust, Hurst shifter, aluminium radiator with electric fans and a few other supporting mods.
He brought it home and his wife was none the wiser because she had never seen under the hood in the first place.
But wouldn't you know it, the next morning, she see's a drop of oil under the thing and goes "I thought you fixed that oil leak"?
Ok, back to my brother in-laws house
