What do you think?

I just received these pieces (Thanks Ron!), and was dry fitting the kit to see how it looks. The CF is top quality but I am not sure if I like the CF with the aluminum. I just think the center looks like something is missing. It is a recessed, perfectly smooth surface, and I personally think Mercedes just cut a corner and left something out. I like the CF and it follows my theme with the lip and diffuser.
I know some people hate stick on kits, but if you don't like it- do you have any other recommendations?
Thanks

Turn the interior lights on and your camera flash off. It seems like the flash distorts the actual look of the CF.

Are these better?
Remember- this is a test fit so the pieces aren't secured yet.

Have you considered covering up all of the aluminum too?

I have considered it but I wouldn't do a kit like this. I would consider the new 3M Di-NOC Carbon Fiber Vinyl. It is a thin vinyl overlay that is the closest thing to real carbon fiber.

I ordered a sample piece.

I would have sent a sample with the CF pieces if I knew you wanted it. I've used it on my door panels as well as a few other places. Pics maybe this weekend depending upon weather. Glad you like the CF.

Dont know about it, may be its because of the picture, but it looks very shiny??

AZN also has the carbon trims but it looks different, AZN is less shiny.... https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...rior-trim.html

But that can be the picture (or your camera )

AZN's is fabric. That would be better for wrapping the stock aluminum pieces but I want something specifically for the heated seat, audio, and upper vent panels.

obviously it's the matter of YOU liking it or not, but since you asked...

it looks like crap and yes, all stick-on trim looks like crap.

I'm not crazy about it but... the interior design doesn't flow. Obviously the interior trim panels would have to be dark and not CF, could be too much CF. The biggest obstacle would be the two-color interior. If the interior was all black you could accent it nicely, but with the light gray, it's very difficult to make that center console look good in respect to the rest of the interior.

I think the problem is you've got small detail in a small area. i.e. too busy.

Not a fan, but to each his own, looks a little crazy for me.

I think it probably looks better in person. It's just the way the lighting is catching the weave that makes it appear more busy.

Alot of CF products look better in person. I don't like how it looks in the pictures but it most likely is nicer anyway.

My honest opinion is that it isn't good. But whatever does it for you. =)
