Still a no win situation. Unless you heard it as you were leaving the dealership, they could argue that some kids got to it Tuesday night.

Time to find another dealership to work on your car and return your life to a peaceful existance.

I checked my entire car after my A service and the service writer noticed me and came running out. He said, "what's wrong?" I replied, "I always check my car before leaving the dealership." And yes, I have a tq wrench in my trunk.

I learned long ago that you can't trust anyone to care for your car like you do.

That doesn't mean that they are getting away scott-free however - the dealership should be expecting a friendly call from the case rep. at the CAC, as well as a nice discussion with the Corporate territory and market manager...
