Turning Off No Seat Belt Alert
I know it's a safety thing, and not asking for myself...got a couple of stubborn passengers that refuse to wear seat belts when in my car...no skin off my nose, I just hate having to listen to the beeping. Thanks!
I have a related question.
PLEASE NO PREACHING IN REPLY TO MY QUESTION -- I ALREADY KNOW ALL THE LIABILITY AND SAFETY ISSUES AS WELL AS MOST.
I am driving my third S, a 2008 S550. Great car, but, the seat belt has ALWAYS been terrifically annoying (YES, PREACHER, EVERYONE IN MY CAR WEARS A SEAT BELTS, BUT SOMETIMES IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE OR BRIEFLY NOT WEAR).
I have driven numerous new Mercedes as dealer loaners (i.e., 2013 model yesterday) and notice the alarms are a REASONABLE reminder rather than PUNISHMENT BY A FEDERAL BUREAUCRAT. Is it possible to replace my older UNREASONABLLY, ANNOYING alarm with the newer, reasonable alarm???

To answer the question embedded in the BS, probably not.
Sincerely,
The Preacher.
