Lamin-X Films for Fog Lights!!
Hey guys,
Couple days ago, I was driving on the highway and my fog lights got shattered by a rock.
I'm going to replace them and then put some Lamin-X Protective Flim on it.
My car is white and which color of lamin-x film will best suit my car?
http://www.lamin-x.com/Mercedes-C-Cl...rs-p/mb426.htm
1) Clear 2) Tint 3) Gunsmoke 4) Optic Blue 5) Yellow
Please give me some suggestions!!
Thanks![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

MBWorld Fanatic!
Clear....maintains maximum light output. Yellow supposedly cuts through fog well, but it will reduce output unless the color was originally accounted for in the design of the bulb and lamp output. I have clear on both of our cars' fog lights...essentially a non-event visually, but they won't break from a small flying stone!

I debated between yellow and the extra thick clear, and settled with the extra thick clear.. but only because I drive on the autobahn and I've already had some front bumper chips from stones. I think I have a better chance of not cracking the fog light with the 80 mil if I'm racing down the autobahn so that's why I decided against the yellow. I think anyway you go, it's got to suit your taste.

Everyone seems to like the yellow really much but
I'm just not too sure if it will look good on my white C350..
Does anyone have pics of a yellow lamin-x film on a white w204???

Since yours is white, I would go with the gunsmoke cause it looks really dark. I'm gonna order gunsmoke for my big lights and yellow for my fogs but my car is black.

I just replaced my broken fog lamp yesterday and I finally got to order the lamin-x film.
I decided to go with the tint one.
After it arrives, I will apply it and post pics for those of who wants to see the tint lamin-x film on a white w204!
