Roof Rack / Snowboard Rack
I am looking to pick up something to carry my snowboard this winter ( I don't have the split rear seats ). Here's the best pricing I have found so far :
http://mercedes.dealerfit.com/store/...at909_2127.php
( $250 for the roof rack & $125 for the standard snowboard rack )
Anything cheaper / better out there I am missing ? How hard is this to install / remove ?
Thanks,
Nick

Just got mine! Yakima Fatcat 6... Love the Low Profile styling of the FatCats by Yakima. Can up to fit 4 Snowboards. I'll get more pix when I get up the mountain on Friday. Worth the 159.99 I paid on Black Friday!

The $160 is just for the part that holds the snowboard though, right ?
I assume you still need to buy the rack that attaches to the roof of the car ?

yes the Yakima rack is about 400 with locks and and a wind fairing. Then you need the actual mount for the snowboards, the one's mentioned (FatCat 6) where $160 on top of paying the 400. But worth it IMHO, its sleek low profile and in the long run can be better in fuel consumption. I've seen the Thule system that you're talking about and it sticks up way high, its not very aerodynamic when it comes to travel. I live about 2-3 hours away from a resort so for my this is something i had to consider for my travels.

'08 C300 4Matic, '91 300E and '88 190E 2.3,
I have a Thule rack system. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to set up. Once it is fitted to the car it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to put on or take off your car.
