difficulty removing the keyfob

After turning the vehicle off, the key is in position 0 (furthest back) but it's difficult to take the key out. Need to jiggle it a bit and it feels like this is not natural. Am I doing something wrong? Didn't find anything about this in the manual.

Had the same issue a few weeks ago and i simply brought the car into the dealership and they took care of it in two days. Had a loaner and now now jiggling .... might be best to bring it in also since you really dont want to wait till it gets stuck where you cant take it out.

I had that problem when I first got my benz. Let me be the first to tell you that there is nothing wrong with your car! When you turn the car off, place your thumb on the mercedes emblem on the key fob and you index finger behind the key like you are pinching it. then just pull straight out. It should work. I had to figure it out on my own since the dealer didnt tell me that. Im sure he was jerking the key out after our test drive. lol

I had that problem with a W203. There is an interlock that prevents you from removing the key unless you are in PARK. I had to make sure I put the shift lever into PARK with a little force or the key wouldn't come out.

Had the problem when the car was new and everything was a tight fit. I was just being too gentle on taking it out. Just takes a stern force. However, if it doesn't feel right then you may want to get it checked out.
