Command phone book.
Does anybody know how to delete all entries in the phone book.
I have this car (C220 CDI) for one year and since the phone book in my phone has a number of new entries I want to update them to the car.

It looks like there are two ways to do this :
Owner Manual p. 193
You can reset the audio system back to its
factory settings.
In this case, all personal data (e.g. address book
entries), among other things, are deleted.
We recommend that you reset the values, for
example, before selling your vehicle.
Sys System Reset.
A prompt appears asking whether you
really want to reset.
Select Yes or No.
If you select Yes another prompt will
appear asking whether you really want
to reset.
Select Yes or No.
If you select Yes, the audio system will
be reset and restarted
Owner Manual p. 233
Deleting external Data
Tel Tel Delete External Data.
A prompt appears asking whether the
data should be deleted.
Select Yes or No.
If you select Yes all personal data are
then deleted from the phone book.

Here is a picture of the menu structure from the owner's manual ( page 223 )
I checked my car last night and sure enough I have the "delete external data" option under the "telephone" menu.
Not sure why you guys don't see this ( different version of the software ) ?
I know from personal experience that the system reset will delete your phone book entries ( but it will delete everything else as well ! )
