I just had my B service completed. Before my A and B service, it read simply that. Service B upcoming, Service A upcoming.
However, now, for my A service next year, it says A1 service.
What do the numbers that follow the letters mean and is that normal?

I don't know, but mine says A5! Sounds Expensive LOL. I'd love to hear more. I checked in my service booklet, but it doesn't really seem clear. FWIW I just had a B0 service done and not really sure what was required.

My B was only a "B." I was a bit scared the number tagged on meant they didn't mark something on the last service, but I doubt it, since you have the same experience.
I think the dealers tend not to do what the computer says anyway. They tend to use time/mileage.
