205/55x16 recommended air pressure - Help.

My 2008 C300 4Matic came with 225/45x17 summer tires. For winter, I install 205/55x16 Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 winter tires on dedicated 16 inch wheels. Can anyone tell me what is the M-B recommended air pressure for 205/55x16 tires?

Thanks.

Pierre

Hello Pierre,

I do not know what MB recommends but it would be in the late
20,s to early 30's psig.

For short distance driving I would recommend a lower pressure for more comfort ie 32 PSI. Highway speeds & heavier loads say 36psig.

In my opinion ,thinking motorists try different pressures for their differing situations & come up with what suits .

John.

2.1 bar or 30.45 psi all round. If you are carrying weight then bump up the back - this will give you totally even tyre wear. Increase pressure 2 - 3 psi for long trips to counter temperature effects.
