colour matching fogs..

To all the people that have the CVs (not ULTRA), the colour matches really well right? I would like to as you guys about the light output. I've gone through CV ULTRA, they were bright but did not match at all. Yesterday I went pmall and bought another set of H7 fogs for $20, I forget the name of the brand but they do seem to match well. The down side of it is the light output was TERRIBLE... it was bright but when compared to the stock.. (my friend parked his c63 next to mine) it was not bright at ALL. Somebody told me that the more "blue" you go with.. the less light output you get or something like that so I was wondering if anybody here has matching fogs and has light output like stock? with out changing to HIDs ofcourse..

This was when I had on the CV ULTRAs vs the Stocks on the C63... They seem to match in the picture but they actually don't. I forgot to take a picture of the new ones I installed yesterday but they are much less bright than that.

btw, the c63 has polargs and mine has the LEDs. My friend he hated the polargs so much he went back to LEDs even though he has 1 burnt out.. So if any of you guys are gonna let yours go pls tell me!.. thanks

I think the best solution for you would be to try out the Crystal Vision 4300k from Philips. Many members from the forum are using it and so far there has been alot of positive response from it.

MB W204, VW Polo, Audi R8 V10 - SOLD.
+!

I know for sure that vic viper is using them and so am I. They match perfectly. Use the Philips CVs for the fogs and replace the eyelids with polargs - and then you're good to go.

There are pictures in another thread:

Also them on my car:
