any recommendation on tints?

any recommendation of what tint percentage is good for black interior? I do want to do 20% but i feel like it's gonna be really dark with black interior. 35% is legal in MD but it's almost pointless to tint cuz it's so see through!

any recommendation is appreciated guys, thanks

went limo all round (except fronts). Works perfect for me with pano and offers the privacy I want. It's too dark for most, but suits what I want.

Heres my take:

50% ~ no tint ( stock s550 windows have less transparency)
35% = see-thru tint ( i hav 35s, with light int)
20% = solid choice, esp w/ dark int. ideal (have seen on friend's)
</5% = makes driving harder, (rain, night time, other situations)

Make sure you don't fit metallised tint (rear screen). It will screw up your radio reception & mess with the RF signal from your key to unlock the vehicle etc.

thanks for the suggestions guys, most likely doing 20% tints, since i see some of my friends with 35% and it's pretty much see through.....not much difference. But thanks Glyn, i heard of that b4, i'll ask about the metallic materials in the tint. hopefully i can do it sometimes soon and i'll post up pics! =)

Just want to confirm...I got that metallic material on my 320 (trade in) and it was messing up my RF signal cant unlock/lock the car from a distance. Now I got the good one on my 500 (15%) you can see from my sig.

i just put 20% on back windows and 35% on the front doors. it looks really good on a 2009 black with black interior.

I did 5% all around with a strip of 5% tint on top of the front windshield and I have black interior. I figure that if I was going to have 20 or 15% done, I might just well go with the most darkest. Im use to it now cause I had 5% all around on my Audi before.

I did 30% all around with Greystone tint from JWF. I think it looks pretty solid. But honestly for my tint, 30% is like 20% and 20% is like 5%. I was originally going for 20% but after seeing it in person, I went for 30%. Depending on your installer, and the tint they use, you may want to go for a higher/lower %. I suggest you find out what kind of tint they use first!

I need a tint as well and that is one thing I will get as soon as the weather here gets warmer, maybe around May or June.
