Angel Eyes
New MB C300 owner of an 09. I have driven BMW's most of my adult life, therefore love the headlamps. I am wanting to know if there is an aftermarket add-on for the Xeon lamps with the "angel eye" effect like that found on the Bimmers.

It's actually fairly simple to do it. I gave it a shot on my fogs before I came to my senses :p Have a thread somewhere here on it you can look over.
Just find the right size CCFL rings and wire them to trigger on sidemarkers or DRL and draw power straight from battery. Crack open your headlight housing and adhere it to the projectors.

Hey AZN,
I remember seeing your post on the CCFL rings on your fogs. Why did you take them off ? Was it cuz it was too BMW-like or some other technical issue ?

I was thinking once. I've never seen a projector retrofit DIY on MBW, and only one person has a projector retrofit that I know of. I browse V6P, a mainly Accord forum, because my cousin drives an Accord, and many people actually retrofit projectors on there own, including my cousin.
I think the angel eyes might look nice! M3s are one of my favorite cars, and it's fun looking through M3post. It's amazing the of options mod-wise that they have.

No technical issue. Worked just fine, but just didn't look right. Got the idea from the Wald 204 body kit which comes with quad halo fogs.

They do look a little strange with the fogs on, but other than that, I like them!
Waiting for a thread about those amazing wheels and interior. No rush, though.

Just got my new front wheels with corrected fitment yesterday (finally). Unfortunately, with christmas, have to delay install till monday. Finally found a new place to take care of my interior so just need to finalize the design and work it out with them, probably after new years.

Halos seem cool, but I feel like in the head lamp itself would be a better idea, also there is a missing section in the halo so im not sure how I would position that.

Off Topic: Hey Azn, just wondering, what bulbs are you using in those sidemarkers? Have you ever gotten pulled over for them in SoCal? They look amazing but I don't think I'd want to get pulled over for having them.
On Topic: The halos are a love it/hate it thing I guess. When I was considering the IS350, I saw one with halos, or as they called it "Demon Eyes" I thought they looked pretty cool. But I think my tastes have changed. They do seem a bit....weird though.
