B SERVICE Door hinges, strikers lube.
There is no mention in the handbook service manual on lubricating door catch mechanisms, boot & bonnet latches , hinges ect. This service does seem to be overlooked in the modern car.I have used light machine oil & grease.
In the past I have also sprayed on a regular basis the window felts in the window runners with silicone spray which dries quickly & lubricates the glass therefore helping to not overload the window motors.
I am new to this make welcome any particular advice .
