Is there anyway to tell if you have the Harman Kardon speakers option? I just got an 08 C350 and they said that it had the H/K option and the 18" AMG wheels. The wheels are there but there are no H/K logos on the grills and there is no Logic7 option on the radio (Is the L7 a separate option?). Also, just to note that the car doesn't have the nav system just the regular small screen display. I found a post where some one upgraded their stock speakers with the H/K and showed the difference between the speakers but its too hard to tell without taking my doors off. Is there any other way I can verify that the car has it?

Also if this car doesn't have the option and I was told by the dealer it was, what can I legally do about it in California? Can I return the car or just discount the price some more? Also can someone explain what audio options and combinations were available for the 08 C350 just so I can have my facts straight before going back to the dealer.

IF you go into your audio sound settings. There will be a Logic 7 3D on/off setting. If it's not there, you don't have it. If you do. Yay. But seriously, if you don't have it, I would go choke the dealer who sold it to you. You probably can't return it but you can file a claim for a misleading sale of sorts...I guess. False advertising maybe?

I'm not aware of the combinations but I'm pretty sure that in the past years, HK was bundled with the MM package, as it was on my car, and seeing how you say you don't have the regular small screen display, or the UMI thing rather, I'm guessing you don't have it. I'd put your angry face on.

In '08 the H/K option came with the navigation system and not a separate option. So if you have nav then you have it, if not you don't!

Sorry - sounds like you don't have it. There would definately be a logic7 in the audio settings... right next to bass/treble.

Don't get me started on the fact that just a bass/treble adjustment is ridiculous in a car of this cost, but moving on.

Your manual wouldve came with an extra book with a DVD-audio disc explaining the HK system.

Thanks for the response. Its time for me to go back to the dealer I really like the car so I'll just try and get some more money back. I'll post pics of her once shes all cleaned up with some nice wax.
