Please help me make a good deal on a 2010 C300 4Matic
Hello Everyone,
Newbie here. Helping a family member purchase a 2010 C300 4Matic Sport, and want to make sure I am in the ballpark on price. It needs to be the following:
Iridium Silver
Black interior MB-Tex.
Multimedia package.
Can have premium package 1 OR 2.
Basically, a typically optioned C300 in a common color. I plan to have several dealerships compete in a 150 mile radius from my business. They all offer a max. $1,300 (first two payments) if you finance (before end-of-year). I suspect there should be plenty of inventory within a 150 of Pittsburgh, PA (About 16 dealerships). A great time to buy as well, as dealerships may need a sale or two to reach a year-end sales number.
So here's my question:
BEFORE the $1,300 credit on financed payments, how far below invoice should I be? Since sales on the C Class are down 28.3% Year-To-Date (and 9% compared to last November sales), I'm thinking deals are abundant. What say you? Truecar.com is stating anything over $750 under invoice would be a great deal. But it would be nice to hear from REAL people that recently bought or helped buy.
ANY ASSISTANCE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Feel free to email if you'd rather not post - turtleqqq@hotmail.com

Once I finalize the deal/get the car, I will report back with the winning dealer + experience at dealership. So far the New Car Sales Manager has gone above & beyond.
