What do they check when you return lease?
I am going to be returning my leased 2008 C350 in a few month. I don't think I need to worry about anything too much except I scraped the bottom of the front bumper on a ramp. It's not visible unless you look under the car. Can they charge me for that too?

Yes. Even touch it up with paint could cost you. Look at the conditions in your contract. A lot of them have a 'credit card' clause.

Also, if your tire tread is too low they will charge you for a new set. I think all four tires have to match too (same brand and rating).
If you do need new tires, you can find used ones for a lot less than what the dealership will charge. As long as they match and have enough tread, you will save a lot of money replacing them on your own.
