why not just get a C63 and save yourself all the trouble? this might not help you out but I'm really curious.

for power, there are exhausts available from numerous companies. ecu tune is probably also a good idea, it's also available from many tuners.

for handling you can get brakes (c63 or brembo are the generally seen as the best), coilovers (many recommend HnR), and strut tower braces (renntech, mbarts, etc)

this is all i can think of for now.
for others on your list im not sure if there are any good ones if even available for our cars

but again, if money is no prob, they're gonna say get a c63

hope this helps

well if your buying all the same parts as the rest of us, your car isn't going to be any different is it?

you can find a loaded 09 63, minus the PP for about 53k now. your EASILY going to go over that from your base 350 cost in no time buying and installing headers, exhausts, tunes, wheels, bbk's etc.

and i hate to ask the obvious but if "money wasn't a problem" and you fully intended to mod, why not get the 63 to begin with?

Fit full house Kleeman including blower. That should differentiate your wallet from the rest of us. I'm sure Carlsson or Lorinser will relieve you of further cash for pretty body kits & wheels

I contacted Kleemann HQ a month or so ago to try and get additional information regarding availablility of their headers for the C350, they said hopfully next spring (which is a full year later than they initially stated) and he said they've abandoned the kompressor kit they were planning to release due to lack of interest...

Price would of been around $15K USD before installation, but you would of had 350hp in your C.

if money isn't a problem go Brabus and buy everything they have for the c-class.. you'd surely have a very differnt 350..

They are completely different upgrades at completely different prices.

Until Kleeman comes out with their sports cam and headers, then their upgrade is the same as Carlsson, with the exception that Carlsson will warranty the engine for 3 years, 50,000 miles and Kleeman will not. Both packages are an upgraded intake, engine management, and exhaust, cost a few grand and get you up to 295 hp.

Brabus will pull your engine and bore your cylinders from 3498cc to ~3980cc, replaces your pistons, and I think your camshaft as well. Brabus will also warranty your engine, and for about $20,000 get you up around 315 hp.

Kleeman has more potential, if they can ever get their additional parts out of prototype, but you sacrifice a warranty. Carlsson has a warranty, and Brabus is ridiculous for the C350.

start with the basics.. if $$ isnt an issue get an ecu tune, full exhaust, and headers!!
your gonna wana stop good soo get some brembos
lower the car with coilover's, get a strut bar.. sway bars also if you like
and most importantly get different wheels/tires for better traction!!

Since money is no object and the car is up for modding... mercedes benz warranty doesn't cover as much since service and parts have to be bought by you... and it is veryy rare that a car goes in for a warranty problem in the motor.. so Good Luck

How do Brabus bore an Alusil lined block? Do they fit liners? Do they surface NICASIL or similar after bore? Are you sure they don't fit a stroker crank to achieve capacity increase? Just interested.

So to get 335i horsepower from a C350 would require the cost of the car plus $20,000? Really? WTF.

If I was determined to spend 20K ungrading the engine on my C, I would likely just drop the 20K on a C63 trade.

With no budget limits I would select a German tuner, ship it over, do full interior with best Recaros avail, + every perf upgrade possible, plus get a new paint job, or wet sand + clear + wet sand and 3 stage polish because orange peel is a killer.

Don't mess around with anything but German tuners certified as OEM producers- anything else is a compromise. Lots avail there can't access here in N. America

Not being a modder myself, I'd probably send it to Brabus and let them work their magic...
