Another Newbie Question
Ok, I'm being told that to get my phone (LG enV3) and the car's bluetooth stack to see each other, I need to buy a device from either the dealer or there is something available on ebay. New to me, but then I walk around clueless a good part of the time. Any insight?

First, who told you this? Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls are pretty standard and I haven't had a problem syncing any of my phones with it. To get the phonebook can be tricky and doesn't work with some phones.

A couple of people at work told me this, with one of them saying her sister with a 3 year old mb had to buy some sort of additional stand-alone interface type thingy: around 500 bucks from the dealer, and something like 120 on ebay. In other words, nobody with any authority on the subject.
No idea what this might be. I just picked up the phone, so I'll have time to play with it this weekend. I have the instructions from mb's website, so I guess we'll see what we see.

My Dealer did it all for me on handover including uploading my address book. But I was lucky to have one of those good dealers. He did use some sort of thingy though to do the upload.

My MB service advisor synced my phone to the car and showed me how to upload my phone contacts. Just take it in and ask for help, that's what they're there for. Also no need to buy any additional equipment.
