Anybody STILL using Luminics bulbs in their headlights/fog lights?

I did a search and found a bunch of older threads about guys running Luminics bulbs in their headlights and foglights. Was just looking for some updates on how they like the bulbs since installing them. Most of the threads I found were from about a year ago...so how have they held up?

I was gonna pick some up but I got some terrible reviews for them so I went with Hellas and they're awesome.

It's a bit shaky (sorry) but these are from last week, they're very white with a hint of blue from afar, they have a pretty neat light pattern too.

Damn those are bright! How's the actual light output though?

What are they called?

The light output's better than stock and the pattern it projects is very neat I find, it's kind of like a W with a protruding middle

They're called Hella Xenon-Blue performance H7s, I got them from a local automotive shop, but Tirerack has them: http://www.tirerack.com/lighting/det...8&autoModClar=

They're a real cheap upgrade from the stocks if you don't want to go HID

I had Luminics and everyone failed. They looked great but VERY short life. When one went I pulled them from my highs but then the next one went so on and so forth. I also switched to Hellas and I can't complain.

How well do your Hellas match your polarg eyelids? Is there an obvious difference?

There's a big difference up close yes, from afar, though, they are as white/blue as the Polargs. My fogs match the Polargs perfectly so I'm happy

No I'm using the whites, hate the blue look. Only in the headlights put the OEMin the fogs since I put the yellow Lamin-ex on the fogs.

How did you get your lights to look blue like that? I really like it.

Do you lose your high beams if you don't have HID's?? Tirerack says high beams work for HID models. and Low beams for all models

curious to know how these compare too

Why didn't you put the Hellas in your fogs as well?

When you say there's a difference...are they not as white as the Polargs or are they not as bright as the Polargs (hope that makes sense lol)

I didn't put Hellas in the fogs because the guy at the shop only had Hellas in H7, he had these "Made in Japan, does not qualify with DOT guidelines" H11s rofl. (The luxury has H11 bulbs in the fogs)

Also the Hellas aren't as white as the Polargs but are indeed very bright, and from afar, are just as white as the Polargs. Hope that helps

IDT - I have the Luminics and the light output is not very good. I have trouble seeing on dark roads, but they look nice and white. I was considering an HID kit, but everyone talks about how they can blind others through a halogen housing. Do the Hella lights output significantly more than the Luminics?

It's LDT, sorry the lower case L looks like an I <--

ANYWAY, the Hellas do output more than stock that's for sure, I really like them!
