Look forward to the pictures...I am sure you will like the rims. I think you can't go wrong w OEM wheels.

I can also say that the paint and finish on the C63 rims are excellent, must have been a replica if it the finish was poor. Can never go wrong with OEM, especially with fitment issues.

Thanks Tank, now that a sweet a picture. Lowering it would be real nice too, I have to honestly say that the chrome strip on the side doors sure throws off the whole car. Maybe that why the AMG cars dont have them including the CLS. I debadged mines off.

The 18" Twin spoke AMG option to the C300/C350 uses 225/40/18 so I went with this instead of the C63's 235/40/18.

Why would they use different size tires for the front, 235 are a bit thicker than the 225, Maybe for traction purposes, but I would definitely like the lower profile look better.

Also on a side note, using the 235 tire in the front I notice slightly less understeer.

I believe the front wheels are the same weight as they are the same size and made out of the same material. The rear wheels on the C63 are 1/2" wider so they certainly weight a little bit more but it's not a big difference in weight. One difference though is the offsets, the C63 wheels will have a more aggressive stance. Compared to the 17" OE wheels on my C350, the fronts are pushed out 4mm and the rears 6mm. I put my 17s on in the winter here and the C63 18s on in the summer and the visual difference is noticeable.
Also on a side note, using the 235 tire in the front I notice slightly less understeer.

Thanks Krytech, Yea I understood what you mean right aways once I got the wheels on. I am very happy that I went with the C63 wheels, they are soo much beatiful in person and on the car. For some reason I am feeling more on an attachment to the car now, lolz. Looking at the car with the rims, it makes me feel as if I am ready to go and rev the hell out of it.
