C63 AMG Rims or regular AMG rims
Which rims do you guys think looks better with a white C, the OEM C63 rims or the regular 18's machine silver AMG? Im debating between the two. All opinions counts.

I think that regular 18" AMG wheels looks better IMHO. And also the fact that people won't try an call you a poser. I think that some aftermarket wheels would look cool, on this car as well.

The ones on the right photo looks better when brand new and clean. The wheels on the left have the grey tone spokes which will work better with my Paladium than with your white car. But, with the realities of keeping wheels clean of brake dust, I would take the wheels on the left photo. Cleaning those tiny spoke openings on the right will not be fun!!

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
It's no problem cleaning them. I wouldn't trade my wheels for C63 wheels, but If I had neither, I'd probably go with the C63 set. Both sets have "AMG" stamped in them, so I really don't think anyone would say you are posing. One who would say that because of a set of wheels, is one who really needs to find a f'ing hobby.

Do you have some type of wheel wax or coating on your wheels? I have the standard OE split spoke design on my 17s and cannot wait to get rid of them. The brushing of brake dust in those small spoke openings is a major PITA for me. I would never consider a wheel again with split spokes or more than five spokes, if possible, and if I could find a great design, like the left photo he showed.

2010 C 300
I like the 18" wheels better than the C63 wheels. Split spoke look more refined to me. I am curious about all the brake pad dust comments. I get zero brake pad dust on my wheels. I hand wash my car once a week and they have No dust. I am coming from an Audi A4 and they were dusty after 50 miles. I wonder if MB did something on the 2010 different than previous years. It sure is nice not to have that as an issue.

2010 model probably has the "good" brake pads. 2008 owners had a TSB out for theirs, this is how i got mine swapped out for free. I think some 2009 owners were able to convince their SA to use the 2008 TSB for their cars. There's a whole thread about it, i think it's called "Break Dust No more" or something like that.
I like the c63 AMG wheels, but my car is palladium too so i'm a little bias as I think they look better with this color.

Mines is an 09" I do realized that there are more brake dust in the rear than front, But im not too sure on how much is too much. Still debating on the two, with the C63 wheels, I think it give it a more sporty look because of the two tone rim of the color. What you guys think?

Well I'm satisfied with my regular AMG 18". The split spokes makes it more refine IMHO. And as for the brake dust.. Mine's a 09 and I'm also having this issue. Tried to convince my SA for swapping out the brake pads but no hope. Guess I'll just have to wait.

Did you contact the C63 rims seller from Fairfield? He still has the rims in SF Craigslist.

Sportstick, I do use Wheel Wax. I also use a soft wheel brush. It almost looks like a squirrel tail. It reaches everything. Also, with 18' wheels having only 5 spokes, it is much easier to access the the barrels and the backs of the spokes. Before I put them back on in the spring, I will wash and wax them - front and back. I did try to get the new brake pads during my service and the service writer said he knew nothing of it. I spoke with my salesman, (son of the dealership owner) and told him I didn't like playing games with the service advisor. He told me I will get the new pads next time.
Whiteongrey, I agree regarding the paint.
Joearch, last summer I found fewer split 5s than C63 wheels.

Hey guys I have decided to go with the C63 rims, I just think it will give it a more aggressive stance and look and it is sooo much beatiful in person than in pictures. I will post pic once it up and on the car and all shined up. Thanks everyone!
