is this a good dea??
hey i have a c350 and i just got a quote to lower my car with h and r sport springs and hid kit in both head light and fog light all for $650.00 installed. is this a good deal? and will the h and r sport springs make a difference ... it only drops my car 1.2 inches. thankss

price will depend on brand of HID kit and region so you really should post what city or at least state you're in. In socal, that's on the more expensive side, whereas in other parts of the country, it's a good deal.
as for making a difference, it really depends on what you want. Sure it does drop the car, but for some, it's not enough of a drop so they go super sports, or just get coilovers. What kind of stance are you looking for?

Springs go for around $300. Go with DDM HIDs which you can get for $50 so $100 total. That's $400 in parts. Everything else is install and really should only take an hour to get all of that installed, but shops will probably charge you two hours unless you know the shop well enough that they won't pad their manhours. Figure $80/hour and you'll sitting at under $600.
