While I was at the MB dealer a few weeks ago, they had a product called wheel wax that is suppose to keep them cleaner longer as crud won't stick as easily. You know, the crap from those rear break pads that if they weren't disintergrating in the first place, we wouldn't have the mess to start with.

I prefer the 7 double spoke by far - they have a nice technical / modern look while new ones look like cost cutting / cheap rims that can be found on most brands.
They are easy to clean with right brush - I use a brush from a dustpan / hand brush kit that costs about $5 along with soap water - its a soft brush that hits every surface quickly.
