New Rims
Smacked a curb the other night (yes, I am admitting to it), so decided to experiment with some of Tirerack's $140 wheels...
Think they look pretty decent..
What are your thoughts?
Chris
(yes, these are iPhone pics so please pardon the quality. and No, my fogs are nowhere near that blue in real life)

Yup!
Don't think the rims are staggered - and are not Walds (thank God - def can't afford those!)
BUT, doesn't make a huge difference - am running 235/18's fr and 255/18's rear...
Manufacturer is Elbrus - rim design is i06 - had i05 before

They look hella good for 18". Do you have daytime pics. I'm deciding on whether to go 30% or 20% tint on a black car.

Very FAST!
If the car was not black, I don't think they would look as good as they do. Nice price, and look good....can't go wrong. How is the ride quality? What tire are you running?

Awesome looking Wald look-alikes!
I'd suggest getting darker centercaps to match the rim better.
Can't beat the price! BTW how much do the rims weigh?

If I remember correctly, 22-24 lbs??
Def not a weight saver, that's for sure.

Totally agree..the problem though, is not that my photography skills are lacking...rather, I don't feel like being "that guy" who is out in the complex's parking lot taking pictures of his car...if you can't tell, these pictures were taken with a "stalker's" mentality..(hence the odd angles and horrible lighting conditions)
Too much negative press as it is with this car/my driving habits in beautifully cultured South Bend! (Beauty of it is, in the grand scheme of the MB lineup this car is really nothing special)
And you are right - this is the first of 5 sets of different rims on 2 cars that my girlfriend liked at first sight...Must mean something
Cheers!

New is 18", 8" wide, 42mm offset
OEM is staggered 17's, 7.5" / 47mm Fr, 8.5" / 58mm Rr
Tirerack Listing
--------------------------
with 22mm more rear track vs front (due to offset) you may feel more understeer.
