Alignment problems, Drive train Roughness, Whiny Steering, Whooshing Noise
I have a 2008 C300 with 19k miles that has had alignment problems since brand new:
First, the car came with an off center steering wheel that was corrected, then a continuous problem with the car pulling hard to the right. I had two alignments done at the dealer and one at an independent shop, and none seem to solve the pulling problem...does anyone else have this problem? No matter the road surface the car seems to pull!.
Also, I seem to have drive train roughness at low RPMs, the vibration/roughness seems to occur the most noticeable at around 2k RPM. Dealer says this is "normal".
Third, the power steering seems to be quite noisy, especially while maneuvering in parking lots, lots of whininess and grittiness, if that makes sense.
Lastly, coming from the instrument cluster area, there seems to be a whooshing, leaking air sound when the brake pedal is not in use (it goes away with full pressure on the pedal). It does this no matter if its in gear or not..
Thanks for any info!
PS- I love my car, I'm just a nit-picky person
