Has anyone performed a pre end of warranty checkup?
I've got just over 48,000 miles on my 2008 C300 and as far as I know I'm not having any problem.
As expensive as non warranty repairs can be, I was wondering if there is anyway you can have the car checked over, run electronics diagnosis, etc. to see if there are any error codes, etc. to get repaired while its still MB's responsiblity.
Or is this crazy talk?

Interesting thought....you could ask SA how much the inspection they perform on CPO cars would cost you. That is a very comprehensive review.

Yeah, I would ask someone you know at the service department if you could get a free inspection before the warranty expires. It doesn't hurt to ask. Many dealers do such inspections for free.

My Mercedes warranty was ending and my dealership send me a letter to check my car before end of MB warranty.
Dont know if they always do this, but i have a 2 years extra warranty from the dealer... so that can be the reason why they are so kind to check my car.
But you can call your dealer and lett them check your car, why not... if there's something wrong they can repair this under warranty.

I called the dealer and they scheduled me to come in next week for a free checkup. They're still going to give me a loaner. I wonder what they're going to find. lol
