So i just signed on for a 2010 C350 steel grey/black inside, Multimedia pkg, but no Premium 2 available... Which means i am stuck with the Halogen lamps.

What are my options as far as upgrading are concerned? should i buy a set of factory bi-xenons? or are my lamps the same, minus the HID bulbs and ballast?

If the latter, I can just upgrade the bulbs and ballast.

what are some thoughts on this?

Congrats, you have the option to get HID for about $150.00

so does that mean i have the same lamps, just no ballast or HID bulbs? or are they totally different lamps as well? It is a lease, so extensive modifications are a no-no

Good news and bad news. I was able to find one near by in Manhattan with P2 package, panorama sunroof, and Multimedia. Only downside is the Walnut trim, and I lost keyless go.

I figure the pano roof and bi-xenons make up for those quasi-bad characteristics.

I'd rather have P2 and the pano roof over keyless go.

Me too I am relieved that I was able to find this and switch for it.

Taking delivery tomorrow or Thursday.

They are totally different (but interchangeable) lamp assemblies and even if you bought them later ($$$$) they would not have self leveling.

Your second choice car is the right one.

I hope you also got the 18" AMG wheels or the dynamic package. Those wheels do turn heads.

just do the HID kit. I put mine in the other day. now I don't regret not having P2 as much. LOL

thankfully the oem projector on our car is very good.
