Am finally looking to change over my stock grill to the C63 relplica that fits our cars. Am just curious to know from personal experience which seller has the best quality one available i dont want something that's going to chip away in a couple weeks. And where can i find the seller?

Can't address durability, but as I was reading your post, the doorbell rang and UPS just delivered:

Looks great out of the box.

I think I purchased mine from the same place. 6 months without a fault, I'd say it was worth $100!

There's A New Grille In Town

Took advantage of a beautiful day to wash the C and install new AMG style grille from Express Body Parts on Ebay. Here is the before and after from the same angle, and a straight on. I like being rid of the argent painted slats, thin vertical support bars, and filling in the full width with the same black mesh as the lower. A very good $94 investment!

Looks good. If/when you get a chance, can you snap a side shot...like about an 85 degree angle? I would like to see how the star looks in profile. Right now I am not really a fan of how far the star protrudes and want to see how they compare, especially considering the black paint vs. silver.

Looks sharp and yes not a bad investment at all i will look into this seller,
I have another question i noticed that the original grill has the 3 step look and the c63 style has like 2 steps with a chrome boarder right along the tip of the hood...
I like the way the original one looks without that chrome boarder along the hood..
But am assuming all c63 style grills come like this?

Looks like it is OEM style with black vs. silver. Looks good but it makes me wonder how hard or expensive it is to paint the OEM. I am thinking matt black may be better anyhow.

Yea i realized that, I like the black look the c63 style grill has. That's why i was looking for it but am considering this one more. Looks more agressive my personal opinion.
"C300Sport" I agree i think matte black would look nice, I would have to find out how much it would cost to paint. Also when am ready to trade back in after lease if it would effect me. Maybe a wrap would be better.

I think the additional chrome on the top and sides of the C63 style is the reason the OEM looks a little more aggressive to you.
I doubt a lease representative would even realize the grill had been painted as long as it is done well.

I ordered that grill from that seller...just got it today and it's very good quality. I bought it (Buy It Now) on Thursday and got it in 4 business days...which is very fast considering it came from Canada. I definitely recommend

Well, you need to realize who you are asking about "perfect"!!
(My kids would have much to say on this topic, I'm afraid!!)

However, I would rate the fitment "excellent" and would do it again, now that I have it installed!

I ordered my C63 grill about a year ago...I'm pretty sure they are all made by the same place and just distributed to different sellers.

The fit was very good along the bottom and the sides...but as you can see from the picture above, the top chrome strip extends out further than the hood. Over time the top and middle chrome strips became loose. They didn't fall off but very def a little shaky. Also the chrome star isn't held in place all that well...brushing up against it lightly knocks it out of place and can fall out. The thing I liked most was the mesh inserts which match the lower grill.

I just replaced the C63 grill with the black version of the OEM sport grill because the center star fell out last week while I was driving. After installing the black sport grill I like it a lot better than the C63 grill

Don't remember how much I paid for my C63 grill...got it a year ago.

Hmmm, I'm scared that the star will fall off. Is there a way I can glue it on better before? I might end up playing around with the grill and painting some of it black or something.. haha but I'll probably order this tonight. thanks for the reply NJBNZ.

wait, I just scrolled up and saw you commented on another grill NJBNZ. is that the new black grill you were talkingabout? may I see some pictures off that one?.. maybe I will want that one instead.

Yea I'm sure you could glue the star on to keep it from falling off.

The grill in this link is the one I just put on today...i haven't taken any pics with it but if you do a search for "painted grill" you'll find a bunch of 'em
