2010 C250 HID install, how

i just got a 2010 C250 4matic which it did not came with HID from the factory. iam wondering if any of you have successfully installed a HID kit into the car yourself? how do you get rid of the error and which kit did you get? will the DDM HID kit with the Error Code eliminator work without the need to modding other parts and buying more stuff? mine is a canadian version not sure if our cars are 100% the same as yours because i don't even know whats P1, P2 etc.. thanks for any help!

DDM HID kit with error code eliminators and that's all you need.
The only modifying you have to do is drilling a whole in the cap for the plug to fit through.

so the 35W kit is the one to pick? also, the drilling on the cap, is the cap part of the headlights itself?? iam afraid to mess up the headlights and make them fog up down the road...

There is no need to drill a hole
Just take a little piece of the bulb cap an run the cables out to the side

You would still have to file down the side of the cap to do that.

You can get 35w for the low beams or 55w if you want brighter. However, if you do fogs, don't put 55w in the fogs.

The cap isn't exactly part of the headlights...I guess. If you mess up, you can just order a new pair of caps. I think I remember someone getting a new pair for like $12? I don't exactly know, but they aren't expensive. Pretty sure the part number is even on the inside of the cap.

If you choose to drill, you'd use the rubber grommet which is supplied with the DDM HID kit. Water shouldn't get in that way, but I'm not so sure about the water issue with filing down the side of the cap.

how did your installation go? What kit did you use and where did you order it from? I'm going thru the same issue as you...and regarding the rubber grommet tool...not all sellers send it along with them.. so whats the alternative to that?
