Compass Freezes - Need Help !!!
On both of my new 2010 C and E Class sedans, I now have the compass indication in the rear view mirror. The problem is that every time I adjust the rear view mirror, the direction "freezes up". I have tried to adjust the mirror before I start the engine and after the engine is running, the result is the same, a frozen direction.
All I have to do is hold the button until the area code comes up, keep holding until the "C" comes up, for calibration, drive a 360 Degree circle and it works perfectly, until the next time I adjust the mirror.
Mercedes-Benz tells me the mirror is "state of the art" but nobody tells me how I can fix the problem. Any idea what I could do?

They would anything foir me to get it fixed, if they would know how. Mercedes-Benz Germany is no help. It just does not work and that in both cars. Frustrating.
